What is a shuttle service?

A shuttle service is a door-to-door service, picking you up at your hotel and taking you directly to your next destination. Unlike the public bus that stops many times along the way, our shuttle service only stops for photo ops and rest breaks. Usually, the vehicle used is a 10+ passenger van. Guarantee your seat by making a reservation with us, preferably 48 hours in advance.

What are one day tours?

One day tours leave from your hotel in the morning and return you to the same hotel in the afternoon. (Some one day tours can be arranged so you travel to a different hotel at the end of the day for an additional fee depends on location).

We have a variety of exciting and interesting itineraries available. Tours are all inclusive but sometimes additional optional activities are available for a fee; options are clearly noted in our tour description.

What is the difference between a shuttle service and a private transfer?

Private transfers are the ultimate in convenience and flexibility, tailored to your schedule and preferences. Your group has the van to themselves and can request as many stops for photos or pit stops as you like during the trip.

How will I be able to identify you when you pick me up?

Our driver will have your name on a list. He will identify himself to you and confirm where you are going.

How much luggage can I take on the van?

Please let us know when you make a reservation if you have a lot of luggage so we can make accommodation.

Are there rest stops along the way?

There is at least one rest stop on each trip so you can use the restroom, get something to eat or stretch your legs. In case of an emergency, just let your driver know that you need to make a stop.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, but please notify us.

What is the Deposit & Cancellation Policy at Untame Belize?

DEPOSIT POLICY

  • To confirm your booking a deposit of 50% is required immediately, full payment must be received within 30 days prior to tour date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

o   50% deposit is required to book a trip

o   Cancellations received within 45 days of arrival date a full refund less 25% percent for administrative cost will be charged.

o   All cancellations must be received in writing and confirmed by UNTAME BELIZE. No Shows or Premature departure (No Refund).

o   No refunds will be given for unused package portions or tours.

  • Your credit card company may have additional charges for foreign transactions.
  • There may be a credit card, and BANK CHARGES/EXCHANGE RATE CHARGES added to the balance authorized for credit card charges.
  • Please note that we do not have any control over these charges which they make directly to you. We charge only the amount that you authorize to us.
  • We accept VISA, & MASTER CARD for payments.
